We make sure that the person who a ticket is purchased for is the same person who redeems the ticket when they enter.
This stops a reseller from buying a large block of tickets when they go on sale and then reselling them on the secondary market to fans who just want to see their favorite bands.
In fact, tickets are no longer necessary. You can simply show your ID at the door, and it will confirm your admission without a ticket.

Once all tickets are sold, people are added to a waitlist, where they choose what type of ticket they are willing to purchase if one becomes available. Once a waitlist is created, ticket holders can return their tickets, and they will be allocated to the person at the top of the waitlist, at the same price that was originally paid.
